Introduction

Hong Kong 100 is a trail running event that takes place in Hong Kong. The courses start in the Sai Kung Peninsula and cover some of the most beautiful scenery in Hong Kong, including the UNESCO Global Geopark, remote and unspoilt beaches, ancient forests, nature trails, reservoirs and steep hills.

The HK100 course is based around Hong Kong’s famous Maclehose Trail, but with some diversions to ensure that runners spend more time in its most scenic sections, as well as finishing with the descent from Hong Kong’s highest peak, Tai Mo Shan.

The Half and The Third both cover the first part of the full course and runners will enjoy some of the best scenery that Hong Kong’s country parks have to offer. The Third finishes with a climb up to Tai Cham Koi which provides a 360° panoramic view of Sai Kung Peninsula.

These are unique, challenging and beautiful runs for the trail running enthusiast and a chance to take part in an unforgettable event. You can even take on all 3 distances over 3 consecutive days by signing up for The Grand Sam.
